Kebele Allotment

The Kebele allotments provide food for the café and the gardeners working on it. Food waste from the café goes back to the allotment and completes the cycle. We do not just garden on the allotment. We believe that good food should be free, organic, and locally produced. Organic food is the purest natural energy source. Kebele Allotment

The Kebele allotment is part of a wider network of gardeners and seed savers in Bristol and beyond (did you know that selling seeds not on the National Seed List is illegal?), all swapping information, seeds and plants. People get involved in the allotments both to learn and teach gardening skills. Our primary form of transport is Shank’s Pony and a shopping trolley. We are currently looking for enterprising welders to make us the ultimate Urban HandCart.
